Life Groups are a discipleship ministry at BHFMC that consist of biblically based classes that begin at 9:15 on Sunday mornings and will run January 14 through March 25.

Adult Bible Study Class
Teacher: Rev. Kenny Dight
Join Rev. Dight in a traditional Wesleyan Sunday School class as they study Isaiah. In the book of Isaiah, we will see that Isaiah’s hope for Israel was founded on a clear vision of God’s holiness, power, and faithfulness. This hope was embodied in the person of the Lord’s Servant, the Messiah. In the advent of Jesus Christ, this hope is revealed to all people; and by His death and resurrection, this hope is fulfilled in all who receive Him as Savior and Lord.
Study Based on the Book of Daniel
Teacher: Bev Cook
The purpose of the book of Daniel is to provide a historical account of how the Lord God protected and provided for His faithful followers while in captivity. It also includes a vision of future redemption and hope. The book deals with many historical events of Daniel’s day, but it also contains prophecies concerning the future. Learn more about Daniel and his blessing of God’s vision of the Messiah that was to come and a kingdom of righteousness that would never fade away.
A Study Based on the Book of Romans
Teacher: Rich Fraer
The book of Romans was a letter written by the Apostle Paul to the Roman believers to introduce himself to the church. His mission was to give them a concrete theological foundation on which to construct their faith and to live for and serve God effectively. The book of Romans reveals the answers to important questions and supplies information on many topics, such as salvation, the sovereignty of God, judgment, spiritual growth, and the righteousness of God.
A Study Based on the Book of Galatians
Teacher: Ellen Daugherty
The book of Galatians was possibly the Apostle Paul’s first letter on the defense of his apostleship and a discussion of how Christians ought to live. Paul writes this book to deal with the problem of circumcision and Jewish legalism toward Gentile believers. Prior to Jesus, the Jewish believers insisted that the Gentile believers had to submit to the laws of Moses in order to be saved. Paul demonstrates in the book of Galatians that Christians need not submit to the old laws. His purpose is to share the new faith given to us by Jesus Christ.
